Virginia Credit Union has teamed up with the Richmond Public Library to offer a series of financial education seminars.
The seminars, free to the public and led by Virginia CU staff, will cover such topics as eliminating debt, understanding credit scores, protecting yourself from identity theft and managing personal financial records.
The "Money Talks @ Your Library" series will comprise 18 seminars held at the library's nine branches from January to November 2011. The credit union will also lead a week-long money camp for teens in July at the library's main branch.
