Speeding up the management timetable for a tri-state league merger, Scott Earl, president/CEO of the Arizona Credit Union League, moves up Jan. 1 to become interim head of the proposed new trade group combining Arizona and the Credit Union Associations of Colorado and Wyoming.

In an announcement made over the Christmas holiday, Earl succeeds the interim head of the Colorado/Wyoming group, Pete Kirchhof, who has been serving as chief lobbyist and who runs his own Denver law firm.

Kirchhof, named as interim CEO last March following the departure of John Dill, has been senior vice president-chief government affairs who sought to return to his law practice.
