The $333 million BrightStar Credit Union of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has signed a multi-year agreement for online banking services from Connect Financial Software Solutions of Salt Lake City

The 42,000-member institution will use the former CUSO's consumer suite for Internet banking and online financial management. The in-house solution also will be tailored to handle third-party integration and business banking, the company and credit union said.

BrightStar Chief Information Officer Kevin Radtke cited Connect FSS's integration, flexibility and back-office workflow automation for its decision.

"The ability to create specific application features was a key component of their decision, and we were able to support them," said Connect President Grant Parry.
