Bethpage Federal Credit Union recently announced a deal with Suffolk County, N.Y., to acquire the naming rights to the Suffolk County Sports Complex, which will now be called Bethpage Ballpark.

The deal will give Bethpage naming rights to the complex, home to minor league baseball team the Long Island Ducks, through 2015. Bethpage is spending $950,000 payable annually during that term with a renewal option of $1,150,000 for an additional five years.

The Bethpage Ballpark name along with the credit union's "B" logo will appear above the stadium as a 40-foot sign and at all entrance gates.

"Bethpage opened four new branch locations in Long Island in 2010 and our expansion plans over the next three to four years will be concentrated in Suffolk County with 10 new branches," President/CEO Kirk Kordeleski said. "Partnering with Suffolk County and the Long Island Ducks is very much aligned with the Bethpage brand and centers on our commitment to our members and the community."

Bethpage, which has been a sponsor of the Ducks since 1999, will be working closely with the organization to develop cross-promotional events and contests for members and families that attend games at the stadium.
