Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union, Westbury, N.Y., announced that Michael Egan concluded his 27-year-long career with the credit union when he retired from his post as executive vice president and chief operating officer on Oct. 1. With over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, Egan served as an integral part of NEFCU since 1983, when he was hired as manager of information services and promoted two years later. Among the highlights of Egan's years at the NEFCU are the strategic direction and implementation of the credit union's recent expansion to community charter; the 2007 introduction of business services; and technology enhancements such as remote deposit capture, mobile banking and online mortgage options.

People's Credit Union, Middletown, R.I., announced the appointment of Mary Belden to loan servicing manager. In this position, Belden is responsible for managing the activities and staff involved in servicing all credit union real estate, consumer and business loans. She is accountable for coordinating and executing projects related to loan systems and practices and documenting, implementing, maintaining and enforcing compliance to all policies and procedures related to loan servicing. Belden has been with People's Credit Union since November 2000.

St. Anne's Credit Union, Fall River, Mass., announced that Maureen Terranova has joined the credit union as vice president of information technology. Terranova is a Jamestown, R.I., resident who earned her bachelor's degree in information systems management at Johnson & Wales University. She has over 20 years of information technology experience.

State Employees Federal Credit Union, Albany, N.Y., announced the promotions of Karen Rose to vice president of loan servicing, David Lang to secondary marketing manager and Tina Coddington to junior mortgage underwriter. Rose has more than 23 years of financial experience and previously was the manager of loan servicing at SEFCU. Lang has more than four years of financial experience and previously worked as secondary marketing support representative. Coddingtion has 12 years of financial and lending experience and previously worked as a real estate lending specialist for SEFCU.

WEST

The Golden 1 Credit Union, Sacramento, Calif., announced that Keven Gray has been named vice president of sales and service. Gray brings a wealth of knowledge in the financial services industry to the position. He previously held the titles of regional manager and retail bank director. Most recently Gray was employed as a district manager with a large medical supply company, charged with leading a team of sales professionals. He holds a master's degree from California State University, Stanislaus.

OnPoint Community Credit Union, Portland, Ore., appointed Julie Audia to the position of mortgage loan officer and Nik Powell to the position of investment representative. As an OnPoint mortgage loan officer, Audia is responsible for new mortgage business development and will work with members on mortgage refinancing. Prior to joining OnPoint, Audia worked at Academy Mortgage Corporation in Bend, Ore. Powell joins OnPoint's growing investment services team as an investment representative, responsible for providing a diverse array of investment products and planning strategies to OnPoint members in Central Oregon. Before joining OnPoint, Powell was an investment representative at Point West Credit Union.

Redwood Credit Union, Rohnert Park, Calif., announced that branch manager Amy Ahanotu was recently voted to the Rohnert Park City Council. His priorities as a city council member will include a balanced city budget, revitalizing the Rohnert Park economy and fostering public and private partnerships for the benefit of the community. Ahanotu has more than 25 years of service and management experience and has been with Redwood Credit Union since 2005.

MIDWEST

Royal Credit Union, Edina, Minn., named Meg Chiodo as its business development coordinator. She will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with area businesses to promote RCU and its services as well as keeping active in community services and events and providing financial education on behalf of the credit union. Chiodo comes to RCU with 20 years of experience working with Realtors in the Twin Cities metro area.

US Federal Credit Union, Burnsville, Minn., welcomed two new branch managers: Barb Regan will be responsible for the Minneapolis branch and Nicole Grobe for the Lakeville/Northfield branch. Regan comes to USFCU with nearly 20 years of industry service, holding various branch level positions, and Grobe has industry experience as a personal banker, service manager and branch manager. In their new positions, Regan and Grobe will oversee branch community involvement, establish and achieve sales and service goals and build relationships to enhance the member experience at their respective branches.

SOUTH

Credit Union of Georgia, Atlanta, announced that Michael Boker has been appointed to the position of vice president of technology services. As vice president, Boker will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the technology services department. He has eight years of experience in credit union processing systems and more than 10 years of experience in the credit union industry.

Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union, Cedar Park, Texas, announced Mystel Jensen as the new Cedar Park branch manager. Jensen has been with the credit union since 2001, and was previously the member services supervisor at its main branch in Austin. Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union has been located in the Cedar Park community since 2009.
