While moving 750-ton structures to help keep some of the nation's dams flowing is certainly a niche service, a 20-year relationship with St. Helens Community Federal Credit Union has helped one Oregon company stay busy.

Keith and Christy Settle, owners of Northwest Structural Moving in Scappoose, Ore., recently raved about their partnership with the $160 million SHCFCU in St. Helens, Ore. The Settles said they have received financing from the credit union to purchase specialized equipment to move large structures such as dam gates.

"Northwest Structural Moving would like to thank St. Helens Community Federal Credit Union for their partnership over the last 20 years," Christy said. "The support of the credit union in financing our specialized moving and rigging equipment has helped make projects like moving [a] 750 ton navigational lock to the Lower Monumental Dam on the Snake River possible. Projects like this one help keep our Columbia County based employees working all over the Northwest."
