Some lucky soldiers at Fort Belvoir will be still be able to enjoy a Thanksgiving feast courtesy of Belvoir Federal Credit Union.

The Woodbridge, Va.-based credit union has made plans to cater a smorgasbord of Thanksgiving dinner favorites to 15 soldiers who are unable to take leave during the holiday season due to their training on Fort Belvoir.

"These soldiers sacrifice so much for their country, serving them a warm meal on Thanksgiving is the least we could do. We simply wanted to bring them a little piece of home," said Belvoir Federal CEO Patricia Kimmel.
