FIS said it has added employee fraud detection capabilities to the enterprise financial crime solutions it's integrated from NICE Systems into its core processing systems.
The companies said the joint offering allows financial institutions to integrate the NICE Actimize and other third-party fraud management solutions into a single hub, allowing advanced analytics and rules processing to be optimally leveraged.
"We have more than 8,500 financial institutions relying on FIS fraud and risk services across checking, credit, debit and item processing. With our expanding partnership with NICE Actimize, we are prepared to offer customers the next generation of financial crime protection," said Kay Nichols, executive vice president of FIS in Jacksonville, Fla.
The Actimize enterprise-wide fraud suite enables fraud protection across a variety of channels, including cards, mobile and online banking, deposits and payments. New York-based NICE Systems said its solutions currently are in place at the majority of the world's largest financial institutions.
