The CUNA Technology Council has re-elected its chair.

Rudy Pereira, senior vice president of operations and technology for $7.3 billion Alliant CU in Chicago, was re-elected to the executive committee during balloting held earlier this year and announced at the council's recent 15th annual conference in Las Vegas.

Robert Reh, chief information officer for $358 million Nassau Financial FCU in Westbury, N.Y., will continue as vice chair. Also re-elected to the executive committee was Butch Leonardson, senior vice president/chief information officer of $9 billion BECU in Tukwila, Wash.

New to the committee this year is John Drago, vice president of information technology at the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues, as leagues representative.

The CUNA Technology Council was formed in 1995 to help advance credit union technology through collective strength, peer sharing and professional development, and now includes members from about 500 credit unions.
