Navy Federal Credit Union said this week it is on course with its 2010 branch expansion opening two new facilities next month–one in Largo, Md., and a new Pentagon unit in Arlington, Va. Last month it expanded its South Carolina presence opening a Department of Defense branch in Columbia serving Fort Jackson.
"We have a total of 185 branch offices worldwide with 12 new offices in 2010," a spokeswoman said. "We will continue to expand our branch network with plans to open three to four branch offices in the first quarter of 2011."
The 2011 branches include one near the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey and the Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Miss.
