Some credit unions in the Wilmington area of North Carolina were closing their doors early again Thursday following flooding from record rainfall that has swept a large portion of the East Coast this week.
No damage was reported at the CUs through mid-day, a spokesman for the North Carolina Credit Union League said. But a handful of CUs were letting employees off early after closing part of Wednesday.
"For the most part major roads are OK, however it's the side roads that are the concern," said Lisa Pope, president/CEO of East Coast Credit Union.
