Credit unions belonging to the Allpoint network will now be able to offer their members fee-free ATM access at 800 Kroger stores across the country, according to Allpoint owner Cardtronics, the largest independent ATM deployer in the country.
Kroger owns more than 2,400 supermarket and other retail stores under a variety of brands, but this deal will only impact machines in Kroger-branded stores, the company said.
Allpoint offers credit unions and banks fee-free ATM access for their members in exchange for a flat fee based on the size of their card base.
