The Nebraska Credit Union League (NCUL) aims to help its members prepare for an upcoming deadline by selecting a Philadelphia-based firm as its service partner to provide electronic lien and title services.

Lenders in Nebraska have until Jan. 1, 2011, to move to electronic titles, a paper-less process that enables them to receive digital titles from their local state motor vehicle offices.

VINtek, a provider of Web-based electronic title services to about 400 credit unions, has been selected by the NCUL to provide those services.
