Credit Union of Atlanta CEO Killed By Police

According to several media reports, Defarra Gaymon, president/CEO of Credit Union of Atlanta, was shot and killed by an undercover detective in New Jersey over the weekend.

According to several media reports, Defarra Gaymon, president/CEO of Credit Union of Atlanta, was shot and killed by an undercover detective in New Jersey over the weekend.

A Montclair, N.J. resident, Gaymon was in New Jersey for a social event, WSBTV.com reported. Essex County Prosecutor Robert Laurino said the unnamed detective was investigating complaints of sexual activity at Branch Brook Park in Newark, N.J. July 17. The condition of the detective was not known although several media outlets reported him being taken to a Newark hospital and treated. Credit Union Times was told the prosecutor’s office will be providing an update shortly.
