The marketing manager at a Maine credit union has won a $2,500 cash prize from CU*Answers in the Michigan-based core processor's first Spec Writer Contest.

Michelle Broderick of $131 million Cumberland County Federal Credit Union in Falmouth won the prize for her proposed enhancement to the CU*BASE system that would create a tracking method to enable credit unions to reward members who make loan payments directly from their ACH deposits.

Entrants had to include a big-picture introduction suitable for a release summary for project implementation, along with explanation screens and illustrations of changes to be made.
