Vermont Federal Credit Union, Burlington, Vt., announced that Trish Porter joined the credit union as the director of business services. Porter has over 20 years of experience in business lending. Most recently, she worked at Chittenden Bank as a vice president business banker.

Capital Communications Federal Credit Union, Albany, N.Y., celebrated a promotion and welcomed three new employees. Julie Hughes was promoted from director of operations to vice president of operations. Jim Cobb joined the credit union team as a credit risk associate. Matthew Clement, who was previously a branch representative at the credit union, rejoined in the same role. Eli Fanning joined the credit union as a marketing specialist. Matt McShane joined the credit union as a part-time Web technical support associate.

Service Credit Union, Portsmouth, N.H., announced the appointment of attorney Patrick Harrigan as vice president of regulatory compliance and legal counsel. Harrigan formerly served as vice chairman of the board of directors. He joined the board in 2004 and has also served on the supervisory and credit committees at the credit union and has assisted the credit union with legal matters for more than two decades.

Insight Financial Credit Union, Orlando, Fla., announced that Charles Arnett joined the board of directors. Arnett has served on the credit union's supervisory committee since 1995, serving as the committee chairman since 1996.

PrimeWay Federal Credit Union, Houston, announced Michelle Ybarra as their new vice president of finance. Ybarra previously worked for the credit union as accounting manager and most recently served as controller at Community Resource Credit Union. She has more than 13 years experience in the credit union industry and holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Houston-Downtown.

University of Hawai`i Federal Credit Union, Honolulu, announced the re-election of Kenji Sumida, Farouk Wang and Edward Yuen to its board of directors. Additionally, the board elected individuals to leadership positions for 2010. Yuen was elected chairman. Minoru Tamashiro, Myrna Nip and Peter Dyer were elected vice-chairman, secretary and treasurer, respectively.

Eagle Legacy Credit Union, Arvada, Colo., announced Michael S. Kerr as executive vice president. Kerr joined the credit union from Credit Union of the Rockies, where he was the CEO/president. He holds a bachelor of science in business administration specializing in personnel and human resources management in addition to an MBA. The credit union also announced Thomas J. Kist as vice president of lending and credit officer. Kist joined the credit union from 1st Financial Federal Credit Union in St. Charles, Mo. He holds an MBA in addition to his bachelor's degree in economics.

Columbia Credit Union, Vancouver, Wash., announced the promotion of Dina Kroshkin to business loan officer. With nine years of industry experience, Kroshkin most recently served as a credit analyst in the credit union's business lending department. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Washington State University.

Card Services for Credit Unions, Clearwater, Fla., announced the promotion of Jenna Sprehe to marketing manager. Sprehe joined Card Services in 2008 as marketing coordinator. Prior to joining the company, she provided marketing support for a variety of industries, including insurance, engineering and entertainment. Sprehe is a graduate of the University of South Florida, where she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing.

Ent Federal Credit Union, Colorado Springs, Colo., announced that Philip Trujillo joined its business banking team as a business banker for its Pueblo region. Trujillo has more than nine years of financial industry experience and most recently worked for Denver's RBC Bank in the commercial and private banking departments. He has a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Denver and holds several financial licenses and specialized training certificates.
