CASE Credit Union has announced the appointment of a new president/CEO.

The $185 million credit union based in Lansing, Mich., has appointed Jeffrey Benson to succeed Terry Pearson who has retired after 13 years of leading the credit union. Benson previously was vice president of operations at Michigan State University Federal Credit Union.

"This is an exciting time for CASE Credit Union. We appreciate the leadership Pearson provided this organization for over a decade, and we are looking forward to the new vision that Benson will instill in this credit union," said William Brewer, chairman of the board for CASE.

Benson has 25 years of financial experience, 21 of which have been within the credit union industry.

"We feel we have selected an outstanding leader with excellent credentials that is capable of taking this organization to new levels," said Brewer.
