Applications for BlackBerrys, iPhones and Android smart phones are among the features of the new mobile banking platform from Wescom Resources Group.

Programming staff at the 225-client CUSO of $2.7 billion Wescom Credit Union built the programs in-house and they are available as either hosted or in-house solutions, WRG said.

Eight credit unions already have committed to the new mobile banking platform, WRG said, including three that will be running them on non-WRG online banking platforms. More than 13,000 of Wescom's 300,000 members have downloaded the apps themselves since the April 1 launch.
