MAFCU Credit Union, Brookline, Mass., announced the naming of Martha Castillo as assistant branch manager. Castillo has more than five years of experience. Since joining the credit union as a part-time teller in 2004, she has held various member-service positions.

First Financial Federal Credit Union, Wall, N.J., announced the promotion of Jessica Revoir to marketing manager. Revoir began working at the credit union in 2008. She holds a master of arts degree in corporate and public communication with a certificate in public relations from Monmouth University and a bachelor of arts degree in communication with a concentration in public relations and a minor in marketing from Marist College.

Local Government Federal Credit Union, Raleigh, N.C., announced the addition of 10 new advisory council members to several of its councils across the state. New members are

Deborah Taylor, Jennings Rhodes III, Richard Winders, Jr., Mark Haraway, Todd Medlin, Jeffrey Ennis, Susan Farley, Danny Lewis, Carol Schley and Regina Rosy. The credit union also announced the addition of Sterling Chapman and Carlie Lewis to its youth advisory council, "Our Generation-Speakin' Up."

CFE Federal Credit Union, Lake Mary, Fla., announced the selection of manager of the year and the selection of two individuals for employee of the year. Matt Heisey, director of card services, was selected as manager of the year. Jennifer Helms, assist head teller at the East Orlando branch, was selected as employee of the year. Karim Godfrey, IT operator II/ PC technician, was also selected as employee of the year.

Texell Federal Credit Union, Temple, Texas, announced that George C. Libby III, a CPA, was appointed to serve as a member of its supervisory committee. Libby is the tax manager with Brockway, Gersbach, Franklin, and Niemeier PC. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and master's degree in taxation from Grand Valley State University. Libby obtained his CPA designation in 2000 and is a graduate of the Leadership Temple program.

GCS Federal Credit Union, Granite City, Ill., announced the directors and credit committee representatives named at its annual meeting. Re-elected to serve two-year terms as directors were Ron Jarrett, George Mitchell, Bert Enfield, Jack Manion and Jim Devine. Re-elected to serve two-year terms as representatives of the credit committee were Don Bingham and Kim Frantz.

WEST

Redwood Credit Union, Santa Rosa, Calif., announced the naming of Deirdre Thompson as new manager of their local telephone member service center. Thompson has nearly 10 years of support center management experience, most recently as deposits contact center site leader with Bank of America. She holds a bachelor's degree from California State University at Hayward and is a member of several professional service organizations including the National Association of Female Executives and the Urban Financial Services Coalition.

?Technology Credit Union, San Jose, Calif., announced the selection of Barbara B. Kamm as its new president/CEO. Kamm has had a long and accomplished career in banking. Most recently, she operated her own Bay Area-based consulting firm to provide strategic, organizational and financial assistance to young tech companies and financial institutions. Prior to that, Kamm spent 10 years at Silicon Valley Bank and became the regional manager there before moving to Northern California as the bank's chief administrative officer.

Summit Credit Union, Madison, Wis., announced that Mike Bunge, chief retail officer, was appointed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Western Wisconsin board of directors.

Bunge will serve the two-year elected position until June 2011.

CO-OP Financial Services, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., announced that Bruce Fielder was named regional sales manager-credit union ATM Services. Fielder joins CO-OP Financial Services from Elan Financial Services (formerly Genpass Technologies), where he spent eight years as vice president of sales for this wholly owned subsidiary of US Bank.
