American Eagle Credit Union, St. Louis, opened its new branch in Florissant. To celebrate the new branch location the credit union held an open house ribbon-cutting ceremony and a family day. The credit union also made a $500 donation to Operation Food Search.
American 1 Federal Credit Union, Jackson, Mich., opened its newest branch in Jackson, combining two branch locations into a larger one. The new 4,500-square-foot North Street Branch features six drive-thru lanes, two no-surcharge ATMs and an expanded lobby. The branch is double the size of the now closed Argyle Branch and sits one block south from the previous branch. American 1 retains ownership of the Argyle St. building. The credit union closed its Felpausch Branch in mid-November after the grocer abandoned the store building.
Tri-Co Federal Credit Union, Hackettstown, N.J., provided gifts to members to celebrate the opening of its fifth full-service office in Hackettstown. The new branch was built at the entrance to the area's newest shopping area, the Target Center.
Florida Credit Union, Gainesville, Fla., announced the opening of its newest branch in Ocala Country in the Oaks Shopping Center. The facility has a high-end retail feel, with open teller stations and an oversized reception area. The Country Oaks branch has more than 5,000-square-feet of space, including on-site safety deposit boxes, a drive-thru window and community room.
Hudson River Community Credit Union Cohoes, N.Y., celebrated its newest Cohoes branch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. As part of the grand opening the credit union also conducted a matching gift program to benefit the Cohoes Human Services Department & Youth Bureau and the Cohoes Community Center. The celebration will not only showcase the services that the branch will bring to the community but will also include special giveaways and prizes.
DATCU Credit Union, Denton, Texas, held a grand opening ceremony to celebrate its newest branch location in Flower Mound. The new branch now houses drive-thru lanes. The festivities included speakers from the credit union management team, board of directors, Flower Mound staff and the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce.
SCE Federal Credit Union, Irwindale, Calif., hosted an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony on for its new state-of-the-art corporate office and branch location in Irwindale.
More than 750 people participated in the festivities, which included lunch from In-N-Out Burger, tasty treats, door prizes, music and tours of the new branch and corporate offices. Credit union members also had the opportunity to spin the prize wheel to win gifts, such as sports duffle bags, stainless steel coffee mugs and $25 gift cards to various merchants.
UNITED SA Federal Credit Union San Antonio, announced the opening of its seventh office located in Boerne. The branch offers three teller windows, three member service stations, three drive-thru lanes, an Internet caf?, a drive-up ATM, a conference room for community meetings and Saturday drive-thru hours for the convenience of the membership.
Langley Federal Credit Union, Newport News, Va., announced the opening of the new Wards Corner branch in Norfolk. With the opening of this location, the credit union now has 19 branches in the Hampton Roads area. The Wards Corner branch features one drive-up ATM and a night business depository.
Fort Knox Federal Credit Union, Radcliff, Ky., announced that it will open its Army Human Resources Center of Excellence in Fort Knox. This will be the third Fort Knox Federal branch on post. The new HRC Branch will be full-service offering teller transactions along with two member service representatives who can assist members with real estate lending, auto loans, certificates of deposit, IRAs and all other credit union services.
