Mobile banking and online account alerts are now available to the 15,500 members of Greater New Orleans Federal Credit Union.

The $104 million Metairie, La., institution-a Cavion online banking customer-said nearly 52% of its 15,500 members are under 45 years of age and that "GNO realizes the need to meet technology expectation of Generation X and Y consumers."

GNO members can use the service to make transfers, review histories, stop check payments and viewed clear checks on any phone with a Web browser, as well as keep track of account activity with a series of customizable alerts, the credit union said.
