Community Resource Federal Credit Union, Latham, N.Y., announced the hiring of Terry Langlois, as chief financial officer. Previously, Langlois was a financial analyst for New York State Environmental Facilities in Albany, N.Y. He has 17 years of credit union experience, having worked for Hudson Heritage Federal Credit Union in Newburgh, N.Y., where he was vice president of finance and technology and School Systems Federal Credit Union in Albany, where he was CEO.

Connex Credit Union, North Haven, Conn., announced that Dana Rocco, Jessica Vaillette, Crystal Carter, Heather Vastakis, Paula Dippold and Talana Mayo were certified in the personal account representative designation program.

Security Service Federal Credit Union, San Antonio, announced the promotion of John McFall to vice president of network services. McFall joined the credit union 25 years ago as a teller. Over the years he worked his way through the ranks holding numerous positions while earning a bachelor's degree in accounting with a concentration in information systems from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Chartway Federal Credit Union, Virginia Beach, Va., announced the re-election of three individuals as members of the board of directors. Judith P. Sparrow was re-elected as board chairman; Melvin S. Mizelle was re-elected as treasurer; and Robert O. Holmes, Sr., was re-elected as a director. All were re-elected to three- year terms.

Community First Credit Union of Florida, Jacksonville, Fla., announced the naming of Michael Valley to controller. Valley previously served as the vice president and finance manager for the Jacksonville Bank and was assistant vice president at CitiStreet LLC. Valley holds an MBA from University of Rhode Island and a B.S. from Stonehill College in Easton, Mass.

PrimeWay Federal Credit Union, Houston, announced Michelle Peterson as its new vice president of human resources. Peterson began her career in human resources in 1996 at Benchmark Electronics. In 2000, she became director of human resources at Morris Architects. In 2004, Peterson became human resources manager for National Envelope Corp. She received a bachelor of science degree in management at the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

?Local Government Federal Credit Union, Raleigh, N.C., announced the addition of 12 new advisory council members to seven of its 22 councils across the state. New members were Tim McKinney Garry Brown, William Toro, Stephanie Wooten, Pamela Ball, Karen Lawrence Sheila Pike, Timothy Rayburn, Erika Phillips and Kyra Doster. The credit union also announced the addition of Victoria Sandy and Grant Owenby to its youth advisory council, Our Generation-Speakin' Up.

MIDWEST

Veridian Credit Union, Waterloo, Iowa, announced the promotion of Amanda Ott to the position of supervisor at its branch in Oelwein. Ott has been employed at the credit union for four years and was most recently a loan officer. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor's degree in family services.

Dupaco Community Credit Union, Dubuque, Iowa, announced that Ron Mussehl and Renee Poppe were elected to two- and three-year terms, respectively, on its board of directors. Richard J. Burgmeier and J. Stephen Chapman were re-elected to serve three-year terms. Burgmeier was re-elected as chair of the board and Chapman was re-elected to a committee chair position. Jeffrey L. Gonner, Keith J. Langan, Kelley A. Donovan and Randy L. Skemp were also appointed to committee chair positions.

WEST

Bashas' Associates Federal Credit Union, Tempe, Ariz., announced the retirement of CEO Gloria Mundy after 42 years of service. Mundy was a founding member of the credit union, serving as the CEO and the treasurer. Brenda Roberts was promoted to CEO of the credit union. Roberts has been with the credit union for 18 years. The credit union also announced the promotion of Joe Quihuis to chief information officer and director of finance. Quihuis has been with the credit union for over 10 years in its accounting department.
