Tobyhanna Army Depot Federal Credit Union, Scranton, Pa., announced the promotions of two employees. Marc Michalowski was promoted to assistant vice president of IT and Nina Waskevich was promoted to director of marketing and sales.
First Citizens' Federal Credit Union, Fairhaven, Mass., announced a series of appointments and promotions in its Cape Cod offices. Linda E. Wilson was promoted to assistant treasurer, branch manager for the Hyannis office. Wilson has been with the credit union since 2007 and has been in banking for more than 20 years. Eleanor C. Weller joined the credit union as a residential loan officer working out of the Hyannis and Falmouth branches. Weller has 10 years of banking experience. Dawn M. Ferreira was appointed branch manager of the Raynham branch. Ferreira has worked in various capacities in the retail banking industry for more than 20 years.

Kalukiewicz has over 30 years of banking experience, most recently with Cambridge Savings Bank in Acton, Mass. Freedom Federal Credit Union, Bel Air, Md., announced that Denise Hogarth joined the credit union as member services support manager. Previously, Hogarth worked at Provident Bank of Maryland where she held numerous positions. Hogarth is a graduate of Lesley University, Cambridge, Mass., with a bachelor's in management.

DATCU Credit Union, Denton, Texas, announced the naming of Pat Sherman to vice president of business development. Previously the director of business development, she joined the credit union in 2005. Sherman has a bachelor of science degree from Texas Tech University and graduated from Leadership Denton in 2007. She serves as president-elect of Denton Community Theatre and chair of DISD Adopt-a-School Advisory Board. She is also actively involved in other community organizations.
BrightStar Credit Union, Sunrise, Fla., announced that Broward County Superintendent of Schools James F. Notter, a member of the credit union's board of directors, received the superintendent of the year award from the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations. Notter has served 36 years in public education and holds a B.S. in education from the University of Buffalo and an M.S. in administration from Niagara University. He also completed postgraduate work at Florida International University and the University of Miami and is currently enrolled in the doctoral program for organizational leadership at Nova Southeastern University.
CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union, Alexandria, Va., announced the selection of Eric Harvell as the credit union's new chief financial officer due to the retirement of its Vice President of Finance Karen K. Reeves. Harvell brings with him almost 15 years of leadership in the financial services profession. He most recently served as finance director, strategy, for Allstate Insurance Co. Prior to Allstate, Harvell was chief financial officer at Great Lakes Credit Union in North Chicago.

Veridian Credit Union, Waterloo, Iowa, announced the appointment of Elizabeth Caven to fill the vacated position on its board of directors. Caven will serve on the board until the annual meeting in spring 2010. To remain on the board of directors, she must then run for re-election. Caven has owned several successful small businesses in Des Moines and currently serves as the marketing director of a national nonprofit organization.
DuTrac Community Credit Union, Dubuque, Iowa, announced that Subi Banerjee joined the credit union as senior vice president of finance. Banerjee came to the credit union from CUNA Mutual Group, Madison, Wis., where he spent the last 17 years, most recently as the senior manager of finance. He has earned an MBA as well as a masters degree in international finance from Louisiana State University.

Elevations Credit Union, Boulder, Colo., announced that Karyn DeLuna has joined the credit union as a financial advisor through CUSO Financial Services, L.P. DeLuna previously worked as a financial advisor for the past three years with BancWest Investment Services. She is a series 7 general securities registered representative, a series 65 registered advisor, and holds a series 66 investment advisor representative license. DeLuna also has life and health Insurance licenses.
Mountain America Credit Union, Salt Lake City, announced that Connie Good is the new branch manager of its Mesa location. Good was previously the branch manager at the credit union's branch in Phoenix. Good has been with the credit union for over eight years. Alison Watson will manage the existing Phoenix branch. Watson has 27 years of financial industry experience.
