Subcat Marketing has launched a "Tweet for College" scholarship.

The scholarship is open to all high school seniors who belong to their credit union's Elements of Money teen program. Applicants must submit an essay answering the question, How do credit unions make a positive difference in people's lives-in 140 characters or less. One winner will be selected each month for three months and an overall scholarship winner will be picked in April 2010.

Dubbed a Twitter experiment, the move is designed to not only give away a scholarship but also see if teens will follow a credit union program on Twitter and find out what they have to say.
