Roshara Holub, president/CEO of the Missouri Credit Union Association and past chair of the American Association of Credit Union Leagues, is retiring in December 2010. Holub, who is also chair of Credit Union House and Credit Union Legislative Action Council, joined the Missouri trade group in 1999 after serving as head of the New Mexico Credit Union League, now the Credit Union Association of New Mexico. She previously held credit union management jobs in Alaska and Albuquerque. At MCUA, she has played a key role in helping foster membership perks or "patronage" benefits through usage of processing subsidiaries and also guided the expanded role Missouri credit unions have gained in shared branching. League officials said an executive committee of the board will be taking bids on hiring a search firm. The board is expected to make a decision at its February meeting.
