CUSOs Credit Union Student Choice and myCUmortgage announced that they have joined together in a partnership agreement.
myCUmortgage, a wholly-owned CUSO of Wright-Patt Credit Union, will endorse CU Student Choice and introduce the private student lending program to current and prospective clients.
"With more than $200 million in loan approvals in the last 19 months, Credit Union Student Choice has proven to be the ultimate solution for credit unions looking to offer private student loans," said Tim Mislansky, senior vice president of Wright-Patt Credit Union and president of myCUmortgage. "We're thrilled to expose our partner credit unions to this collaborative model, which will allow them to offer a dynamic product without the traditional overhead of starting and maintaining a new lending operation."
Wright-Patt helps over 100 credit unions with mortgage lending through myCUmortgage and Select Mortgage Group. CU Student Choice now has 90 credit union private student lenders.
