Xtend Inc., a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based multi-owned cooperative CUSO, said it has provided call center services for three credit unions over the past month during their transition to a new core data processing system. Call center support was provided for two Ohio credit unions: PEF Federal Credit Union in Highland Heights and Vacationland Federal Credit Union in Sandusky. Xtend also provided support to Rapid City Telco Federal Credit Union in Rapid City, S.D. Each credit union underwent a conversion to the CU*BASE core data processing system from CU*Answers Inc., according to Xtend. The CUSO said it is preparing for two more conversion projects in November. In other company news, Xtend added Northern Hills Federal Credit Union to its list of owners. The Sturgis, S.D.-based credit union is now the 46th owner of the CUSO. With the addition of NHFCU, Xtend is now owned in equal shares by 45 credit unions and one CUSO.
