More than 275 community financial institutions, including 84 credit unions, have signed up for FIRST ROI’s INMO online account opening system in the six months since it’s been launched, the company said. The INMO solution combines FIRST ROI’s user interface and lead management solutions with enabling infrastructure, ID verification, authentication and applicant-screening integration from California-based MeridianLink, FIRST ROI said. “In line with our mission of helping community financial institutions win the war against the megabanks, we set out to create the industry’s highest funding online account opening system specifically designed for the unique needs of community banks and credit unions,” said John Waupsh, CEO of FIRST ROI in Austin, Texas. He said his company expects to contract with 350 community financial institutions by the end of 2009. “On the surface, most institutions think about online account opening as a technology concern. But successful online account opening is a marketing solution,” Waupsh said. “INMO integrates a turnkey, online marketing system with a powerful lead management engine to increase applications, improve conversions, and drive efficient back-office workflow, making it the highest-funding online account opening system around,” he said. –[email protected]
