The $2.3 billion Wings Financial Credit Union said today it has officially opened its field of membership to thirteen counties in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

Nearly half of the credit union's 120,000 members live in the Twin Cities metro area, according to Wings Financial. Membership is now open to anyone working, living or worshipping in Anoka, Carver, Chisago, Dakota, Hennepin, Isanti, Ramsey, Scott, Sherburne, Washington and Wright counties in Minnesota and in Wisconsin's Pierce and St. Croix counties.

Founded in 1938, the cooperative has served the area for more than 70 years. Wings Financial serves employees of more than 47 airlines and 132 aviation-related companies.
