TruHome Solutions LLC has announced a 20 basis point discount off its mortgage origination fees for all loans funded in September and October.
The fee reduction is for all credit union clients served by the Lenexa, Kan.-based mortgage CUSO. TruHome said the reduction was made possible by achieving efficiencies, an increase in loan volume and exceeding its budgeted targets.
As an example of the origination fee savings value, a $150,000 mortgage origination will save a credit union $300 to originate through TruHome, the CUSO said.
"Purchase volume has been steadily improving as the economy begins to rebound, and TruHome considers itself well positioned to capture that additional business opportunity while increasing our client credit unions' success," said Keith Varney, chief operations officer at TruHome.
TruHome provides mortgage origination, underwriting and servicing for credit unions nationwide.
