Credit unions in the Northwest have a new payroll vendor: the Idaho Credit Union League which this fall has been promoting its services to CUs across four states.
League officials said they found the cost-cutting trend among small and medium CUs paramount, triggering a decision to expand offerings of its subsidiary, League Services, Inc. into Oregon, Washington, Montana and Idaho.
Eight northwest CUs have now contracted with LSI this year, which has been stressing quick turnarounds plus "our special knowledge and understanding of the industry." LSI has been processing payroll for some 22 Idaho CUs for more than six years.
