An Oklahoma university has named Phyllis Danley Kunze, CEO of East Central Union, to oversee its $20 million foundation.
Kunze will serve as executive director of the East Central University Foundation Inc.'s fundraising activities and assets. The 39-year old foundation provides scholarships and donations to the fund have helped to complete several centers on the university's campus.
Kunze has a 50-year tie to ECU. The alumna is the daughter of the late James O. Danley, a former chairman of the school's mathematics department and the university's first dean of graduate studies and continuing education. Kunze's mother, the late Wanita Danley-Plunk, taught in the education department.
