The $1.1 billion Eastern Corporate Federal Credit Union announced its proprietary DeposZip program has nearly doubled its book of business since the beginning of 2009, increasing to 50,000 registered users. According to EasCorp’s September member newsletter, the remote deposit capture service has processed more than 199,000 deposits to date, containing 267,000 items and totaling more than $218 million. Of Depos-Zip’s 42 participating credit unions, seven have more than $1 billion in assets. As of press time, EasCorp was planning to debut a new administrative platform on Sept. 14. The upgrade will feature new tabular menu layout and other extras like larger custom message fields, improved image zoom tools and shortcuts for most frequently used functions.
