NCUA Chairman Deborah Matz and three senior agency officials are scheduled to make presentations at next Tuesday's town hall meeting on the future of corporate credit unions.
In addition to Matz, who is schedule to make opening and closing remarks, the other speakers are: Scott Hunt, special assistant to the acting director of the NCUA's Office of Corporate Credit Unions, who is scheduled to discuss the current state of corporate credit unions and the agency's regulation of them; NCUA General Counsel Robert Fenner is slated to discuss the agency's current rules about the corporate credit unions and possible changes; and NCUA Deputy Executive Director Larry Fazio is scheduled to give an update on the implementation of the Corporate Stabilization Plan.
There are two periods set aside for questions and answers.

The meeting, which starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m., will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Clayton, Missouri, just outside of St. Louis.

The agency has also scheduled town halls on Sept. 30 in National Harbor, Md. and on Oct. 5 in San Diego, Calif.
