EAST Teachers Federal Credit Union, Farmingville, N.Y., named Bob McAllister to the position of assistant vice president of indirect auto financing. McAllister has more than 30 years of experience in the finance sector and a background in auto and business financing. As assistant vice president of indirect auto financing, McAllister oversees indirect lending of automobile purchase transactions initiated by the credit union for its members. He interacts with the GrooveCar auto buying service and local auto dealers to secure deals for TFCU members. Prior to joining TFCU, McAllister served as vice president for independent lending at North Fork Bank. In addition, he has worked closely with the Greater New York Auto Dealers Association. Greylock Federal Credit Union, Pittsfield, Mass., announced promotions of six key managers. Gloria Beraldi was promoted to assistant vice president, branch manager at Greylock’s West Street location. Beraldi came to Greylock Federal in 1994 and has 22 years’ experience in banking. Kate Gelinas was promoted to assistant vice president, manager deposit operations. Gelinas joined Greylock in 1985 and has 30 years’ banking experience. Timothy Kiely was promoted to assistant vice president, branch manager. Kiely joined Greylock in 2004 and has 10 years of financial services experience. Maureen Phillips was promoted to assistant vice president, mortgage loan officer. She has 30 years of banking experience. Pete Mirante was promoted to vice president, insurance operations. Mirante has 20 years’ experience in banking and insurance services. Sharon MacEachern was promoted to assistant vice president and manager of Greylock Insurance Agency. She joined Greylock Insurance in 2005 as an office manager and has 24 years’ experience working with personal lines, commercial lines and claims, life and health insurance.
