The SBA has tapped two former bankers to fill some of its regional administrator posts.
Jeanne Hulit will serve as region I administrator overseeing the SBA's programs in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Hulit was a senior vice president for commercial lending at Citizens Bank since 2002 and a vice president for Key Bank National Association for 10 years.
Yolanda Garcia Olivarez has been named region VI administrator overseeing the agency's programs in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Oklahoma. A 35-year financial services veteran, Olivarez had served as a senior vice president/commercial lender and business development officer at Wells Fargo Bank since 1995.
Marianne O'Brien Markowitz will serve at region V administrator for Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. As region VIII administrator, Daniel Hannaher will oversee the SBA's programs in Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming.
More than 400 credit unions participate in the SBA's loan programs.
