Mid-Atlantic Corporate Federal Credit Union, Middletown, Pa., raised more than $10,500 for the Children’s Miracle Network at its annual charity golf tournament. The Children’s Miracle Network is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals across North America.

Texans Credit Union, Dallas, helped raise more than $135,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation through the Texans Credit Union “Swing for a Cure” golf tournament at Gleneagles Country Club in Plano. Former Dallas Cowboy Cliff Harris served as host for the tournament. Texans Credit Union was the title sponsor, with additional support provided by Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Texas Western Hospitality, Andrews Distributing, Brazos Gas Co. and Lockheed Martin. Heritage Federal Credit Union, Newburgh, Ind., sponsored or partnered with more than 110 local organizations during 2008. The credit union donated funding or in kind gifts of more than $75,900, and credit union employees volunteered a total of more than 1,380 hours to 48 organizations.
