The $58 million Entrust Federal Credit Union provided another example of a credit union coming through for its members recently when it helped a member access cash while overseas.
Entrust was chartered in 1970 to serve employees of the Foreign Mission Board. Later, membership was also opened to overseas missionaries as well. In this circumstance, the child of an Entrust member in Russia required $7,500 emergency surgery that had to be prepaid. The amount surpassed the limit set for cash withdrawals from overseas.
The member called the credit union through its call center, which is hosted by PSCU Financial Services. While PSCU Contact Center staff could not increase the CU's limit themselves, but they contacted the credit union and worked with staff until the matter was successfully resolved.
