The Senate Banking Committee will hold a hearing next Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. on the confirmation of Deborah Matz as chairman of the NCUA.

Matz, who served as a board member from 2002-2005, was named by President Obama in May.

She would replace NCUA Chairman Michael E. Fryzel, who will remain on the board as a member.
