For his work in fostering international trade in Southern California, Arrowhead Credit Union President/CEO Larry Sharp has been named the Inland Southern California Global Leader of the Year.
Sharp received the award at the recent World Trade Month event, which encourages local businesses to establish alliances through international trade. He is past chairman of Inland Action, a group that promotes the Inland Empire and is board chairman of the Inland Empire Economic Partnership.
More than 220 turned out for the event in Riverside, Calif. Sharp said local businesses can use international trade connections as a way to survive as well as provide a foundation for growth beyond the downturn.

Sharp has served at $1 billion Arrowhead in San Bernardino, Calif., for nearly 30 years.
