The NCUA is scheduled to unveil final rules on what information credit unions must disclose to credit reporting agencies and hear a report on the health of the NCUSIF at its meeting next Thursday.

The rules will also discuss how consumers can challenge information from credit unions in their credit reports. The NCUA, the Federal Trade Commission and other regulators are required to issue the rules under a provision of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

The board is also scheduled to vote on whether to issue an advance notice of proposed rulemaking, seeking further comment on the definition of "integrity" under this provision of the act.
