In a move that exemplifies the credit union spirit, OAS Staff Federal Credit Union has become the first credit union nationally to build prosthetic hands for land mine victims.

Through the CU Philanthropy Group's partnership with Odyssey Teams, Inc., credit union senior executives and staffers participated in the team development event as part of a kick-off for OAS FCU's broader staff development initiative.

The Washington credit union team built the hands, tested them for functionality and decorated the delivery boxes, which will be distributed through Odyssey Teams, Inc. and Rotary International to land mine accident victims. All boxes sent will include a photograph of the three-person assembly team.
