Michigan First Credit Union has launched a new online presence that features the customizable tools of personal finance management software.
The $486 million credit union in the Detroit suburb of Lathrup Village worked with Texas-based Jwaala LLC to create the new service.
Members can use at-home check scanning, alerts by mobile text or e-mail, free bill pay, account transfers, transaction histories, credit score tracking and enhanced security features, along with budgeting and reporting functions and live chat with Michigan First support staff.
The 71,000 member credit union serves members in 44 Michigan communities. Jwaala, a CUSO of Amplify FCU in Austin, launched its MoneyTracker solution in 2007.
A tutorial of the new system is viewable at www.michiganfirst.com/online.
