Employees of credit unions with credit card programs can learn about the new regulations on credit cards at NAFCU's Webcast from 2:00-3:30 p.m. EDT. on May 6.

Participants will learn about the five new Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices rules adopted last December. These include changes regarding limited credit card account repricing; card issuers' payment allocation; card statement mailing requirements; the prohibition of so-called double-cycle billing; and first-year fee and deposit limitations. The regulations are scheduled to take effect on July 1, 2010.

The program will also detail changes to the Federal Reserve Board's recently approved changes to Regulation Z on credit card disclosures and advertising
