The Filene Research Institute released a brief that shines some light on mortgage practices over the past few years.
The brief, "Mortgage Borrower Risk Profiles, Delinquencies and Interest Rates in 2005 to 2008," is an analysis of mortgage pricing strategies and of delinquency rates across borrower characteristics and demographics.
Copies of the brief are free to Filene members and $75 for nonmembers.
