EASTEnergy Federal Credit Union, Rockville, Md., announced the retirement of Raymond Holt Jr. from the board of directors after 24 years of service. Throughout his tenure with the credit union, Holt served on numerous committees, including the nominating committee, member services committee, investment committee and the pension committee.SOUTH

Brightstar Credit Union, Sunrise, Fla., named James F. Notter to its board of directors. Notter, a well known educator and administrator is the superintendent of Broward County Public Schools, the nation’s sixth largest public school system. Notter has been in education for over 36 years, including 10 years as a classroom teacher and 26 years in administrative roles.Shell Federal Credit Union, Houston, Texas, named Sonia Castillo its new vice president of human resources. Castillo has over 17 years of credit union experience.San Antonio Federal Credit Union, San Antonio, announced that Wendi Lozada- Smith has joined the credit union’s information technology team as an information security officer. She brings more than a decade of experience in financial institutions and information security to the credit union. The credit union also announced the appointment of Blaise C. Bender, to serve as a member of the supervisory committee. Paul R. Ellis joined the collections team as vice president and collections manager. He brings 30 years of experience in the financial industry with him to the position.
