CUDL and Prime Alliance announced the speaker line-up for their new joint symposium. The new auto-mortgage lending symposium will take place May 12-15, 2009 in Las Vegas. Patrick Adams, president of St. Louis Community Credit Union, will emcee the general sessions.Industry speakers include Charles Goss, vice president of lending for Security Service Federal Credit Union; Tom Weaver, vice president of lending for Northeast Federal Credit Union; and Tracy Bremmer, director of product management decision sciences for Experian. There will also be sessions that include several panels of real estate lending experts who will discuss managing through periods of peak volumes, real estate lending strategies and the future of mortgage lending.“Credit unions have the opportunity to re-define lending for decades to come as members and nonmembers alike look to local lenders for affordable, sustainable, understandable mortgage and auto financing,” said Dan Green, Prime Alliance’s executive vice president of strategy. “Holding the first symposium focused wholly on housing finance and auto lending addresses our industry’s opportunities perfectly.”The symposium will also feature educational session dedicated to each lending channel and attendees will be provided with insight on topics such as portfolio management strategies, risk management and collections, and best practices in marketing and operations.“By teaming with Prime Alliance and combining each of our organization’s expertise and leadership, we are providing credit unions with one event that delivers real lending solutions for today’s marketplace,” said Joe Greenwald, CUDL’s vice president of marketing and communications.–[email protected]
