CUcorp announced that it has added two new partners to the Invest in America program.CUcorp is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Michigan Credit Union League that offers services to credit unions in the areas of human resources, customized training, insurance programs, operational support, technology, marketing and payment solutions.The two new partners, AAA Michigan and GrooveCar both offer greater exposure to the Invest in America program and more benefits to members.AAA Michigan will give new members a free upgrade to AAA Plus RV.GrooveCar, is a Long Island-based automotive resource that has just launched a new Web site, www.groovecar.com, that will help draw consumers into the program.“The phenomenal support for Invest in America has led to more than 28,000 new vehicle sales and more people exposed to the benefits of credit unions,” said David Adams, president/CEO of CUcorp. “AAA will give members even more value in their purchase, and GrooveCar will help the push to let 90 million credit union members know about the program.”The AAA upgrade provides members with benefits that include 100 miles of free towing and coverage for motorcycles and RVs.“AAA is pleased to participate in this worthwhile program, which will save our members time and money,” said Tim Bannon, vice president of group operations for AAA Michigan. “Likewise, nonmembers who wish to join AAA will find a value-added incentive.”In addition to the new site, GrooveCar president and founder David Jacobson said they have scaled up their call center staff in order to support credit unions across the country.The Michigan Credit Union League also launched a newly redesigned lovemycreditunion.org Web site that prominently features the Invest in America program.“The new Web site serves as a portal into the credit union world. It offers members and nonmembers a chance to learn more about credit unions, their programs and how to join,” Adams said. “The redesign highlights the Invest in America partnership and the CU Difference campaign, our cooperative advertising campaign which informs the public about the benefits of being a member of a credit union.”The Invest in America portion of the site highlights the discounts credit union members receive on new GM and Chrysler vehicles and has a counter that shows the most up-to-date number of Invest in America vehicles sold.–[email protected]
