NCUA Region I Director Mark Treichel has been named acting director of the agency’s Office of Corporate Credit Unions, the agency announced last week.Treichel, who has been in his post since 2003, succeeds Scott Hunt who has been detailed to that office since January. Hunt, who will remain on detail to that office, succeeded Kent Buckham, who left the position in January to become head of the agency’s newly created national examination team.As of March 16, Region II Director Jane Walters will be on detail as the agency’s acting regional director for Region V, succeeding Melinda Love who has been named director of NCUA’s Office of Examination and Insurance.Region IV Associate Director of Programs Larry Blankenberger will be on detail as acting Region II director.
