With NCUA's corporate bailout at the top of credit union agendas, Southwest Corporate Federal Credit Union is scheduling its first webinars on the topic March 20 and March 23, with a focus on the agency's advanced notice of proposed rulemaking.

In a notice sent this week, the Dallas-based Southwest Corporate said its two no-cost Webinars are being offered to CUs to review information and answer questions related to the ANPR and to address "the operations, governance and infrastructure of a corporate credit union."

The Webinars are on top of its regular monthly financial webinar scheduled today. Separately, Southwest Corporate issued its regular financial report to CUs discussing gloomy forecasts by the Federal Reserve Board citing "weaker conditions or declines" in 10 of the 12 federal district bank regions with expectations that any turnaround could be deferred until late 2009 or early 2010.
